Boo 2!!

Hi and good morning everyone, today over on the Cheery Lynn Designs blog I am sharing a Halloween card made using some of the new release dies from Cheery Lynn and also a couple of older dies too.

I started off with a 6 x 6 inch blank card base, and layered black bazzil card, silver card and and glitter paper.

I then added the stunning and delicate spiderweb mesh border (which cuts like dream), and matted and framed my image onto the gorgeous Celtic Square Stacker.

I placed on top of my image the super-cute Witch's Laundry... this is such FUN! and for a finishing touch added a few bats and the sentiment Halloween.

All dies used on this card are
B322 - Spider Web Mesh Border
DL259 - Celtic Square Frames
L-1 - Silver Square Stackers
B334 - Witch's Laundry
B344 - Halloween
A194 - Going Batty

Matchbox Dies

Hi and Good Morning, I hope everyone is having a great week so far!

This week I wanted to show you how quick and easy it is to make a gorgeous wee gift box out of the Cheery Lynn Designs matchbox dies.

I used the largest Matchbox Die set for this gift box, and cut out 2 pieces in matching double sided 12 x 12 patterned paper.  I assembled the box quick and easily, as all the folds are embossed and it just all falls into place so well! :)

I then decorated the sides of the box with  Sophias Heart border, and the Forever sentiment.

The top of the box is decorated with the matching Sophias Heart Mini Doily, and I made the flower from one of the new release floral strips Gardenia.  I held this together with a pearl brad and added some olive green leaves cut from the Rose Leaf Strip.

This was such a lovely gift box to make, and so easy too, I can see lots of uses for this die and all the other sizes to make a set!

Cheery Lynn Designs - NEW RELEASES!! - Alisons Ribbons (yes me!)

WOOOP!  I am sooooo excited! :)

The new release Cheery Lynn Designs dies are out!  This is the biggest launch yet, and offers the most wonderful selection of dies in so many themes and styles you will want them all!

My card uses Alisons Ribbons... and this my friends is something I have been bursting at the seams to tell you about for ages!  Yes, they are named after me!.

I had been wanting to create my own ribbons to match my projects for ages, and so came up with the idea of a some basic ribbon shapes and overlays, so you can create your own ribbons to match any project and use all your scraps up too!

I layered lavendar and white bazzil card in panels with matching paper, and then used the scraps to make the ribbons!  lol. The gorgeous bow is the beautiful Dainty Bow, which I placed a pearl brad through, and for a quck card added a finishing touch with one of the many sentiment and words dies Cheery Lynn make.

All dies used on this card are:

B335 - Alisons Ribbons (I will never get tired of saying that!) lol

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today and dont forget to check out the Cheery Lynn Designs blog to be inspired by more of the amazing new releases .

I will be back on Wednesday with more dies to share from the new collection.

WoW

Hi and Good Morning Everyone :)

My card for this week is a WoW creation, showcasing the elegance and intricacy of Cheery Lynn Dies to their best!.

This card has a very simple, but effective layout, and works well with an combination of borders and frames.

I started off with a 6 x 6 inch blank card base, and all dies and layers were cut from American Crafts white textured cardstock.

The centre panel is the stunning Daisy Lace Frame die, and I tucked behind it 2 layered lace borders, Border Carnivale and City Girl Edger.  To hide the join I used one of my favourite expandable dies as I really think this finishes it off.

I made the centre flower from the Daisy Strip die, and added 3 gorgeous butterflies and some card candi to finish.

All dies used on this card are:

FRM 118 - Daisy Lace Frame
DL129 - Border Carnivale
B308 - City Girl Edger
B215 - Expandable Dies
B259 - Daisy Strip
DL112 AB - Small Exotic Butterflies

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today and dont forget you still have plenty of time to enter our challenge this week where our theme is 'in stitches'.  As always the lucky winner will receive a $20 shopping voucher for the Cheery Lynn Store, so well worth playing along.

Celtic Charm

Hi and Good Morning  :)  I hope everyone is enjoying some lovely summer weather?

My card this week for Cheery Lynn Designs uses some of the gorgeous celtic borders, mixed with some wonderful classic and newer dies too.

I started off with a 6 x 6 inch card base, and layered MME paper onto DCWV textured card.

I cut 2 different celtic borders, Celtic Band and Celtic Weave and then cut 2 x Ivy Corner Flourish, chopping one in half to rearrange the form.  Both flowers were made from Shasta Daisy Strip and held together with a pearl brad.

I coloured my digi image (Crafts & Me) in then matted onto a scalloped rectangle.  I cut the Dream Big words and layered onto both the image and tag.

Pretty simple card, but I think the dies all tie in together so well!

All dies used on this card are:

B200 - Celtic Band
B201 - Celtic Weave
B310 - Shasta Daisy
B261 - Tags 2
B315 - Ivy Corner Flourish
CM-2 - Scalloped rectangle
B245 - Dream Big
